Beatrice Fontana
is a curator, architect, and designer. For over twenty years, she has worked in architecture with national and international collaborations, managing an architecture studio in Zurich. After earning a MAS in Curating from ZHdK in Zurich, her focus shifted to the enhancement of space through multidisciplinary practice and the exploration of spatial transformation models that combine architecture, art, curation, and social sciences.
Currently, with the project beatricefontana.space, she intends to combine the two disciplines within spatial curation.
Antonio Scarponi
is an architect, artist, designer, educator, and founder of the Zurich-based studio Conceptual Devices. His interdisciplinary practice views design as a tool for understanding and transforming spatial relationships. He studied architecture at the Cooper Union in New York and IUAV in Venice, where he obtained a PhD in urban planning.
He is co-director of the Certificate of Advanced Studies “Transforming Space” at the Zurich University of the Arts, where he is an associate professor of Exhibition Scenography in the Master in Curatorial Studies.
