The Institute for Spatial Thinking with the support of Ikea Stiftung Schweiz and in collaboration with Makramè is pleased to announce a new scholarship programme for the 2026 edition of Bosco Colto Campus, which will take place in Caltagirone, Sicily, from 30 July to 9 August 2026.
Deadline: 05.07.2026
Recipients Announcement: 08.07.2026
This year's theme, Thinking with Animals, invites participants to explore how other forms of life can challenge and expand our understanding of design, learning, and coexistence. Through fieldwork, collective construction, observation, and discussion, the Campus investigates how knowledge can emerge through direct engagement with landscapes, materials, and living beings.
Bosco Colto Campus is an immersive educational experience that brings together students, researchers, designers, artists, and practitioners interested in the relationship between space, ecology, and society.
A number of scholarships are available to support participation. The programme covers tuition, accommodation, meals, and materials. Applicants are responsible only for their travel expenses.
Applications are now open.
More information about the programme, eligibility criteria, and application process can be found here.
